Each bag is thoughtfully engineered to meet the demands of modern life, combining practicality with aesthetic appeal.

Our story began with three women in 2013. Although they came from different professional and personal backgrounds, they shared a common drive, ambition, and a passion for thoughtful design. Through a combination of determination, hard work, and a little serendipity, they founded Dagne Dover. Their mission was simple: create products that make daily life smoother and more enjoyable. We care about people, and our work is driven by a desire to bring joy and convenience to everyone who uses our bags.

For us, caring about the planet isn’t a trend—it’s essential. We strive to minimize our environmental footprint and incorporate sustainability into everything we do. Our goal is to reduce the impact of our operations on the planet while still creating bags that people love to use.

Safer materials
We prioritize your health and safety. All our products undergo rigorous AZO testing to ensure that the dyes used are free from harmful chemicals. This commitment guarantees that our bags are non-toxic and safe for everyday use.

Animal-conscious practices
While not everyone on our team is vegan, we respect animal welfare deeply. Today, most of our bags are entirely vegan, and we proudly provide a wide selection of cruelty-free options for conscious consumers.

Reducing waste
We actively find ways to prevent unnecessary waste. Leftover scrap materials from production are repurposed for sampling and prototyping, helping to reduce factory waste. Additionally, we have partnered with Archive to launch the Almost Vintage program, allowing customers to buy and sell pre-loved Dagne Dover bags. This initiative promotes sustainable fashion while keeping our products out of landfills.

Recycling and reuse
Our linings and dust bags are made with Repreve®, a recycled material sourced from plastic bottles, reducing water and energy consumption compared to virgin fibers while lowering greenhouse gas emissions. Certain products, such as the Nova Sling Bag and items from our Puff collection, are created entirely from this versatile recycled material. Excess inventory and returned items are often donated to local charities like the Shelter Partnership of Los Angeles, giving our bags a second life and helping those in need.
